Microsoft Windows 11

I have an HP Spectre 360, which I upgraded to windows 11 when it came out. Since yesterday, my touchscreen stopped working entirely. I tried use the HP support chat but it only has support for windows 10 for my device.

I still went through all the trouble shooting steps it gave, I tried everything and couldn't update my bios because there was no windows 11 option. Additionally, I pressed f2 on startup and the touchscreen test worked.  However, my touchscreen is still completely unresponsive when actually using my computer. I feel like I have tried everything and nothing is working.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue. Your touch screen might not respond because it is not enabled or needs to be reinstalled. Use Device Manager to enable and reinstall the touch screen driver.

  1. In Windows, search for and open Device Manager.

  2. Expand the Human Interface Devices list.

  3. Right-click the HID-compliant touch screen device, and then click Enable, if possible. If the Enable option is not available, continue to the next step.

Enable the HID-compliant touch screen in Device Manager

  4. Tap the screen to see if it responds. If it does not, continue with these steps.

  5. Right-click the HID-compliant touch screen device, and then click Uninstall.

Uninstall the HID-compliant touch screen in Device Manager

  6. Restart the computer to reinstall the touch screen driver.

  7. Tap the screen to see if it responds. If it does not, configure the touch display.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
