Hello,
Suddenly, my computer started showing vertical lines last night. There was no trauma prior that I can think of that caused this. Mostly, when the computer starts up, the lines are super white and they fade slowly after a few mins. Some lines can be 'erased' in a way by moving my cursor over them. The lines like to show up after white pixels are on the screen, since at boot a white screen flashes before my screen loads.
What I've done thus far to no avail:
- update all drivers
- uninstall and reinstall graphics driver
- update windows 11
- try a hard reset
- squished screen and gone between tablet and computer mode and nothing affect the lines
- plugged in external monitor via USB-c -> shows perfect ( no vertical lines)
The only thing to seemingly affects the lines is the colors shown on the screen. Please help with maintenance ideas or links.
