HP Spectre x360 14 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 14-eu0000 (7K633AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

i'm from pakistan and i bought this laptop last year in November from a local retailer brand new for over 1100$, just after 14 days of use, the screens started flickering red vertically from left side, it happens for a blink of an eye but keeps on happening every now and then, i tried resetting the windows and even reinstalling all the drivers but the problems still occurs, i tired disabling the dynamic refresh rate and locking it but still happens! now my concern is that my product is still in warranty till Sept 2025 and i have no way to claim it, i went to the shop i bought it from and they said they'll have to ship the laptop to Dubai to claim the warranty but they can't guarantee a return date, it might take 3,4 or even 6 months maybe more but can't guarantee when they'll bring it back to me due to the custom restrictions in Pakistan. there are multiple authorised dealers in Pakistan in HP official website and i tried contacting them all but everyone denied that they can't claim the warranty since they'll have ship it out of country, except for one who told me to talk to HP and if they refer them to take care of the unit only then they'll do it, now i''ve been trying to contact hp but there's no customer support here for pakistan except for virtual assistant which isn't helpful at all. how do i contact hp? how do i claim the warranty?

I really appreciate you reaching out, and I’m so sorry that you've had to go through all this hassle just to get your issue resolved. I understand how frustrating it must be, especially when your device is still under warranty and you’re not getting the support you need.

I want to assure you that I'm here to help.

Lets try a few steps before considering a repair or replacement.

1. Screen Flickering Issue

Screen flickering on the HP Spectre x360 can often be attributed to graphics driver conflicts or settings. Here's a step-by-step approach to troubleshoot this:

Update Graphics Drivers:

  • Visit the Intel Driver & Support Assistant to automatically detect and install the latest graphics drivers for your system.
  • Alternatively, download the latest drivers directly from the HP Support page.

Disable Panel Self-Refresh:

  • After updating the drivers, access the Intel Graphics Settings:
    • Right-click on the desktop and select Intel Graphics Settings or Intel Graphics Command Center.
    • Navigate to the Power section.
    • Disable the Panel Self-Refresh option.
  • This solution has been effective for some users experiencing similar issues.

Update BIOS:

  • Ensure your BIOS is up-to-date:
    • Visit the HP Support page and enter your laptop's model number.
    • Download and install the latest BIOS version available.

Let me know how it goes.
