Product: HP Sepctre x360 15-ch00x
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The auto-rotation feature is not working and neither is auto tablet mode. The rotation lock icon is greyed out. I have tried changing Windows settings and registry entries as noted in other support posts. No luck. I have downgraded and re-upgraded the sensor drivers, the display drivers (both Intel and VegaRX). Still no luck. I even re-applied the latest BIOS update. HP support assistant and Windows sensor diagnostic both report no issues. I've had this laptop for about a year and the rotation has been working up to now. Unfortunately, I can't pinpoint the exact time that the auto-rotate stopped working, but it is almost certainly within the past month (Aug-Sep 2019).

As mysteriously as it started, the problem just vanished .
