HP Spectre x360 Convertible ch004na multi-monitor support

Hi Jeet, I have connected up my cables exactly as specified in the product manual. 

I have a HDMI cable into the HDMI slot, and a DVI to USB-C cable into each of the USB-C slots on the side of my laptop, but only two of the external monitors are connecting. Is there a fault with my laptop? 

I have now purchased three sets of different cables and in none of the scenarios I am able to connect up a third monitor, no matter which configuration or combination I try. 

This is a scenario that works perfectly on my much older desktop computer with the same monitors. Would you be able to enquire further about this issue? 

UPDATE: 

I used LiveChat and spoke to a support adviser who Remoted on to my computer to investigate the problem. Upon conclusion they told me that it was not possible to connect three external monitors, they told me the only way I could do this is to use a HDMI Splitter, but when I looked up these adapters online I see that a HDMI splitter only duplicates the signal from the HDMI port rather than extending my display so in other words it is not possible to extend my screens to three external monitors simultaneously with the built-in monitor. I had earlier spoke to another support agent shortly after purchasing the laptop who informed that this this scenario should actually work. It seems that there is some confusion over what is possible here.

I read the post. Thanks for the quick update. As @Jeet_singh is out for the day, I am responding on his behalf.

Please try these steps:

Update the bios, chipset and graphics drivers from this link: http://hp.com/drivers and follow the on-screen instructions.

Then create a new local user account as an administrator by following directions from this link:  https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-laserjet-pro-p1102-printer-series/4110394/model/...

Log into the new user account after restarting your computer. Now check if it connects to other monitors correctly. We need to isolate the issue and rule out all software possibilities that could be impeding it.

I followed all the steps and the same issue occurs.

In Display Settings, the fourth screen is greyed out. I can choose to 'Extend desktop to this display' for the greyed out monitor, but as you can see from the photos, one of the other monitors stops rendering any images and shows up as grey in Windows display settings.

Unfortunately you can only duplicate the display with the HDMI Splitter and you won't be able to extend it.

So is it supposed to work with the USB-C slot for my scenario? e.g. is my laptop faulty or is it simply not supported to connect to three external monitors? (one output by HDMI and the other two by USB-C).

Did you ever get all 4 monitors working?  I'm having the same problem as well.

Nope. They eventually clarified over the phone it only supports 3 monitors.

Nope I'm not aware of any other way. I tried a ridiculous number of ways to do it but it seems there's a hard 3 monitor maximum.

I just have to have one of my monitors turned off unfortunately. 

Bit disappointing that it can't render to 4 monitors!
