HP Spectre x360 - 15-ch011dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Issue has started occurring with our HP Spectre x360 where there are burn in images all over the screen. As this is used for drawing artwork semi-professionally, this makes it all but useless. This is an internal hardware issue as the issue does not occur when hooked up to external displays. I have seen other reports of this same issue with this model. The warranty of this laptop expired 4 months ago, so this would cost upwards of $400-500 to be replaced. It is unacceptable that this is an issue for a $1600 laptop that is just over a year old with normal use. This is obviously due to faulty design or hardware and not any fault of the user.

@JoeyDIT,

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.
