HP Spectre x360 Laptop - 15-eb0043dx

Whenever my laptop isnt used for week or two it fails to turn the screen back on from sleep mode.  Sometimes it happens the next day.  It is not any setting issue or update issue.  Tried updates, settings, etc.  You can hear sound and know the system is on and functioning the screen just wont turn on.  Only work around is power off computer and restart or plug in external display.  Note external display is not plugged in when i log off.

Also since day 1 anytime you use the laptop on battery it is darker than when plugged in.  It doesnt matter if i turn the brightness all the way up. Soon as u unplug it goes darker.  Maybe there is setting for this but i explored quite a bit and very computer savvy...

Have you tried plugging in your adapter?

Because, my laptop is the same, if it is in sleep mode until the battery is almost empty, I plug in my adapter and then press the power button.

It is normally plugged in and that is when it happens alot now.   I know i have had the issue on battery but i don't typically use it that way.   Plugging in and out the ac power adapter does nothing...

This has been a terrible computer.  When on battery it does weird things like dim the screen and won't go up to full brightness making it very hard to see when you're in your vehicle, slows down and lags for no reason and no one can figure out why, fan is horribly loud,  had faulty battery 35 days after purchase and hp  had no replacement parts for 3 months and wanted me to ship them my computer so i was without...etc etc..

hmm, looks like you need technical assistance directly from HP or to the service center.
