My elan touchpad suddenly stopped working.Tried reinstall windows 10 from scratch,also tried to install latest elan drivers for my touchpad but in device manager the device appears with yellow mark and in properties it says failed to start.Its also not working in bios.Tried to install again intel serial i/o driver with no success.Any ideas would be appreciated.

I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue. As you've performed relevant troubleshooting It looks like a hardware issue with the touchpad.
For now, please try these steps:
- Connect an external USB mouse to the computer and check if it works. If it does then the touchpad needs to be replaced.
Also, Please update the BIOS and touchpad driver from the link below.
Update the BIOS using this link.
Update the touchpad drivers using this link.
I would request you to contact our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out.
