Product: HP EliteBook 840 14 inch G10 Notebook PC (6V5Z3AV)

Hello, I am attempting to get my older HP Stylus pen model 1.5 with the two buttons on the side to work with my new EliteBook 840 14-inch G10 Notebook PC; I thought it was the battery, so I replaced it, and no go. Any suggestions greatly received

I know many HP 840 G10 machines do not support stylus (pen). Before going out to buy a stylus, please check your system first: Does it support a pen. Following images from my 2 machines, one YES and one NO
