How to switch off the HP Tilt Pen??

Holding down the top (eraser) button and the green light flashes 3 times, then turns solid green. Let go of the top (eraser) button and the light switches off. I assumed the pen is switched off. However, when I bring the pen close to my hp spectre laptop screen to check if it is switched off, I can still use the pen - hence it is not switched off by holding the top (eraser) button for 3 seconds, 5 seconds, 10 seconds.

I tried the lower side button. No avail.

Without it being switched off, battery drains out completely between uses.

So everytime I want to use the pen, I have to first charge it, even if it was fully charged before I put it away.

This is ridiculous.

Please help...

Thank you much for the help.

Thank you for confirming that itit cannot be switched off.

Intermittent usage, say once every few days or every few weeks, will require us to first charge the device before we can use it.

Im sure this unfortunate oversight will be rectified in the next version, or hopefully in a software upgrade?

Thank you so much for the assistance and I look forward to working with you

@D0c_NN-005 The pleasure is all mine, that said, I can't promise anything related to upgrades in the future, however, I have forwarded your insight to the concerned team and they should work on the same.

Have a good day, ahead.
