HP Laptop 17-by-1071cl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP Tilt Pen 2MY21AA paired successfully with my HP Laptop 17-by-1071cl via bluetooth (in Windows settings the pen shows up and it is stated that the pen is paired). However, there are no pen settings available in Windows settings. I downloaded HP Pen Control from Microsoft Store, but it says that the Pen Control is not compatible with my computer. When I switch to pen mode, the pen starts drawing even if I do not touch the screen. When I touch the screen with the pen tip, the cursor where the line appears shows up at the distance of about 20 cm away from the pen tip. The drawing/writing cannot be controlled because of that. The drawing continues at any minor motion of the pen, and the line appears to be chaotic. Since there are no pen control settings, I cannot set up the buttons. When I try to calibrate the screen, there is no pen option. I would highly appreciate it if you provide me with instructions whether there is a way for me to fix the problem. 1, Does what I described mean that I cannot use the pen 2MY21AA as a drawing/writing tool on my computer? If yes, which pen can be used? 2. Does this mean that my cHP Laptop 17-by-1071cl is not intended to be used for drawing/writing with any pen tool (despite having a touch screen), and only fingertip drawing is available on my laptop?

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

I understand that your HP Tilt Pen is not working correctly. If you have already performed the steps from this document Pen Is Inaccurate or Stops Workinghttps://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04100778 and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure. (refer to Stylus compatibility)
