OMEN 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-b1000 IDS Base Model

I bought the laptop and hub in November of 22 with two HP monitors. I hooked one monitor directly to the laptop and one to the hub and they both worked perfectly until yesterday.  I shutdown the laptop and unplugged everything and used it at a remote location. When I returned, I reconnected the monitor(s) and the hub and now the monitor from the hub does not work. The USB connections on the hub still work, but the HDMI connection to the monitor doesn't work. And yes, I've turned it off and back on. I've tried every hint and trick I found here and on Google.  I even reset the laptop and started from scratch.....still doesn't work. I'm open to any suggestion at this point.
