Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-e0000 IDS Base Model

After scanning the forum a bit, it seems like this is an extremely common issue with HP Envy and Victus devices, but the hinge of my laptop screen is bulging and the casing is cracking. It's extremely unfortunate since I bought this laptop only a little over a year ago for college but the warranty has since expired. The computer hasn't been dropped and it has not received any other damage aside from this known issue with the product. This is severely frustrating; the damage to the device only increases with every use, as I open and close the laptop, and I fear it may begin to damage the screen as well after enough time. Is there any way for me to get this fixed out of warranty without paying more than the computer is worth?
