HP Victus 16.1 inch gaming laptop PC NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 8Gb, Intel I7-13700HX processor, 32G memory, GeForce RTX 4060 8Gb
Question 1: InWindows display settings 1920 x 1080 is the highest resokution posible. Is this the limit? Would have asumed at least 2560x1440.
Question 2: Does the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 8Gb drive the external HDMI connection or only the internal display?

Hi,
Q1: Display settings are limited by the maximum display resolution of the laptop LCD which is most likely the full HD in your case because it would be automatically set to the QHD(2560x1440) if the LCD would support it. This laptop models support QHD but it's down to the specific model and the country. It's usually price related so a lower price means a lower LCD resolution(specs) because my core i7 has only 1920x1200(FHD+) but exactly the same model with a core i9 and QHD LCD is about £1000 more expensive(the QHD display costs under £100 btw).
Q2: I think that the HDMI(and the LCD) supports the VGA that is in use at the time.
