HP Victus 16.1, ryzen 7, RTX 4070 screen near-black dimness

Having the same issue as below post from last year - laptop screen goes to near-black state and usually does not return to normal brightness until tens of power cycles go by, including restarting through bios or PC/Windows repair blue screen.  Often occurs after shutdown or restart, though also happens randomly while using laptop normally (internet browsing, email, gaming).

This has happened intermittently since purchasing the laptop in November 2024 and is infuriating since the laptop is so unreliable it's unclear whether there's any reason to keep it rather than replace it. Purchased from Best Buy.

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I recently bought a new Hp Victus Gaming Laptop with a graphic switcher(mux switch) option in omen gaming hub. Whenever i try to switch to discrete graphics mode from omen gaming hub, it requests a reboot. After reboot the laptop screen becomes very dim and unable to see clearly until i use a direct light on it like a mobile flash. However even in discrete mode the screen gives clear output to an external monitor connected using HDMI cable. I need to reset it back to hybrid mode for the laptop to function normally. The laptop functions normally in discrete mode also but the screen becomes dull and unable to adjust brightness. Thus it means that the screen backlight might be turned off. Please suggest me any solution to solve this problem. Also if you can help me find the cause of this problem then it will be of great help. Please help me solve this problem.
