Hi, I've had this HP Victus 15 for about 11 months now, and I've tried everything. Ever since I got it, it has been constantly crashing over and over from various blue screen issues such as: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA, KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION, SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION, KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE and MEMORY_MANAGMENT
I've tried: Reinstalling Windows 11 completely from Microsoft recovery drives as well as the HP cloud recovery, updating my GPU from the AMD site (only makes the problem worse), running "sfc /scannow" and "DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth". Tweaking various graphic settings such as performance mode and even leaving it on default.
I've tried taking it to Best Buy, where I bought it for repairs, but even they said they couldn't find any issues with it and just gave it back to me a week later. Is there anything that can be done from the HP side of things?

Troubleshooting Blue Screen Issues on HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fb2000
If your HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fb2000 series is experiencing frequent crashes due to blue screen issues, here are some steps you can follow to resolve the problem:
-
Update Drivers and Software:
- Make sure that your operating system and all drivers are up to date. This includes drivers for the graphics card, chipset, and any other components.
- You can use Windows Update and the HP Support Assistant to check for and install updates.
-
Check for Overheating:
- Ensure that the laptop's cooling vents are not blocked and that the cooling system is functioning properly. Overheating can cause system instability.
-
Memory Diagnostics:
- Run a memory diagnostic test to check for issues with the system's RAM. You can use the built-in Windows Memory Diagnostic tool.
-
Check for Faulty Hardware:
- Sometimes, blue screen errors can be caused by faulty hardware components. Test components like the RAM, hard drive, and graphics card to see if they are functioning correctly.
-
Perform a System Restore:
- If the crashes started occurring after a new software installation or system update, you can try restoring your system to an earlier point in time.
-
Check for Software Conflicts:
- Ensure that there are no software conflicts by uninstalling any recently installed applications that might be causing instability.
-
Run HP PC Diagnostics:
- Use HP PC Hardware Diagnostics to perform a series of tests on your laptop. This can help identify failing components or other issues that might be causing the blue screen errors.
-
Review System Logs:
- Check the Event Viewer in Windows to find error logs that might give you more insight into the cause of the crashes.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, it may be best to contact HP Support for further assistance, as there might be an underlying hardware problem that needs professional servicing.
