ive been having problems with using my webcam, it works in the camera app but nothing else, i took it upon myself to try and fix the issue after checking everything ive come across online, all to not have anything work, so i decided to go into device manager and disable then re enable the device, still nothing... so then i decided to uninstall the device, and now i cant find it anywhere, cant find the driver downloads anywhere and im not sure what to do anymore. i was trying to use it on google chrome before i did all this, i was able to pull this error code from the device log before i uninstalled it. 0xC00000E5. it said something along the lines of unable to start the device prior to this code in the log

Hi @18barmstrong,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
I understand that you looking for a camera driver, and I am glad to assist you.
Update the Bios, chipset, and drivers using HP Support Assistant.
Download and run the HP Support Assistant from this Link: Click here
- HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook
- Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My Notebook pane.
- Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
- Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
- Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
- Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and Install.
Also, ensure Windows is up to date.
- Select the Start button, and then go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update, and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
