Hi,
I have a HP X360 Laptop (model 14-dh0002TU), which I am trying to connect to a Lenovo Portable Monitor model-L15, however when I plug the monitor in (using USB-C cable), the monitor powers up but then goes into standby mode.
Question is whether the USB-C port on the laptop is able to provide display on a portable monitor directly between laptop or monitor? If so, any suggestions as to why it is not working?
Many thanks in advance.

The specs of your HP machine is
https://support.hp.com/emea_africa-en/document/c06268094
Which says it has a hopeless 1 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C™ (Data Transfer Only, 5 Gb/s signaling rate port. You can NOT use its USB-C port to charge your machine NOR connecting to any monitor with or without dock/hub.
Regards.
