HP Z32 4K UHD Display
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Please help. I have HP EliteBook 830 G5 connected to USB-C G4 port replicator which connected to to HP Z32 4K UHD display.

Monitor works only in 30 Hz in 4K resolution.  Monitor menu show optimal resilution as 60Hz but it set to 30Hz.

I connect monitor with certified HP DisplayPort cable HP 917463-0011850 (HOTRON E246588).

BIOS, video driver and dock firmare updated to latest but refresh rate still only 30 HZ.

But.. when I connect monitor with Thunderbolt cable directly to the laptop it works in 60Hz

Please give me advise .

Thak you.

The dock supports

Single display
Up to 3840 x 1440 at 60 Hz
Dual display
Up to 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz
Triple display
Up to 1680 x 1050 at 60 Hz

Its specs

The simple math answer: The monitor has 3840 x 2160 @ 60Hz native resolution therefore to display UHD (4K) on the monitor, the dock will reduce the refresh rate and next available  rate is 30Hz
