Hello,

 

I just purchased an ASUS MB169C+ portable monitor for my HP ZBook 15 G4, when I connect it on any of the 2 Thunderbolt/Type-C ports, my laptop shuts down and when I try to boot it with the monitor connected, it shuts down again after seeing the HP Logo on boot.

Also with the Laptop powered off, when I connect the monitor on one of the Type-C ports the laptop powers on for one second then shuts down again, like when I press the power button.

 

Any thoughts to help?
