Hello,
I need some help with my HP Zbook!
I bought this PC in December of 2022 and have hardly used it. I’m starting to use it more now and have been having a lot of saturation and over exposure problems.
Specs:
ZBook Fury 17.3 inch G8 Mobile Workstation PC
Windows 11 Pro
Processor: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core i7-11850 @ 2.50GHz
RAM: 32.0 GB
Storage: 1 TB SSD
GPU 0: Intel(R) UHD Graphics
GPU 1: NVIDIA RTX A4000 Laptop GPU
Example: This doesn’t happen all of the time, but many times - when I bring an application close to the top of the screen (mostly top left), the top of the application begins to glow and become overly exposed and overly saturated. The highlighted words and letters begin to glow in an overly exposed/ overly saturated way. This same thing can also happen when I make an application go full screen. Sometimes the apps on the task bar at the bottom of the screen does this over exposure/ saturation…
My girlfriend bought the same computer at the same time as me, and she only experiences that overly saturated/overly exposed look in the taskbar where all the apps are at the bottom of the screen.
Image one: Top left of screen - full screen app.
Image two: Bottom left of screen - windowed app.
Image three: Bottom of screen - task bar apps.
Troubleshooting: I tried a couple troubleshooting techniques, such as updating drivers and running calibration tests, turning off/ tuning back on… but none of these solved the problem.
This doesn’t happen all of the time, but it does happen a lot… I’m not really sure what to do next. I do a lot of renderings and digital editing, so screen quality is pretty important to me.
Thank you.

Hi. I have had same problem.
I figure out that he problem was caused by ambient light sensor (on the left side next to microphone on the panel). So I covered it with a tape and problem was gone because I have had saturation problems only during the day.
For the record I have disabled automatic brightness setting in Windows. That did not solve the problem.
Hopefully, this will solve your issue.
