HP Recommended

Hello, I've bought 2nd hand HP Zbook 17 G3 and from Windows advanced display info and also from HWinfo64 I see the FHD display as 6 bit (Chi Mei CMN1738). I presume the seller exchanged broken 8 bit Samsung  SCD3854dsiplay for the inferior one. I am I right or HP just changed dsiplays in some G3 series to 6 bit ones? Thank you for your help.
