OMEN 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-b0000 (2W6B5AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello,

I bought a new laptop HP Omen in March and until now I'm facing three serious problem with touchpad that I cannot find any fix to it I tried literally everything to fix and still nothing works

My problems are the following :-

1) Touchpad click button (right and left buttons) are not clicking, which means, when I click, nothing happens. (Or it can click but I need to wait 5 seconds to click again)

2) The cursor/pointer doesn't work while clicking and can't move the cursor/pointer while clicking

3) Can't type and click/move the cursor at the same time

For example if you're playing a game with sniper you can't aim and shoot in the same time with touchpad you must do one of them.

Troubleshooting that I tried and didn't work

1) updating driver (no updates found)

2) updating windows (no updates founr)

3) re-installing the driver (nothing)

4) re-installing windows (nothing)

5) downgrading to windows 10

6) updating BIOS

7) editing regeditor

😎 contacting customer support on WhatsApp

9) Re-installing elan software

10) ran HP Support test and no issues were found

Please I need help to solve my issue

ive had simmilar problems with my pc. with me i just did a full reset and that seemed to help! but with yours being a computer dont know if itll have the same affect. im into art and gaming so when i plug my drawing pad in and then unplug it later thats when my problems accure. so maybe if you unplug and replug a device or anything often that might also be the maine issue. once again doing a full reset seems to be the savior.
