I have just bought a HP digitalizer pen 1MR94AA and have a HP Spectre x360 13-4104 Convertible running Win 10.
Despite many attempts including updating drivers etc there is still no recognition of the pen by the screen. Can anyone help? The HP support site itself is not very supportive here at all... Any tips very gratefully accepted!

@JNWberg Welcome to HP Community!
I understand that HP 1MR94AA inactive on a touchscreen.
Do not worry. I will try to fix the issue.
After reviewing your post regarding the Active pen, I would suggest you to update the Bios and Chipset drivers on your PC from our HP Support website, using this link.
Also, download and install HP support assistant on your PC. It should automatically download and install the latest updates and drivers for your PC.
Refer this link to know how to use HP support assistant.
If the issue persists, uninstall the keyboard drivers from device manager and restart the computer.
- Please right-click on start>select device manager>Expand Keyboards>Right-click on the listed drivers and uninstall them. Then restart the computer and check again if the issue is fixed.
- If it continues, please replace the stylus battery and check again if it gets resolved.
- If it persists, please try to perform the prescribed troubleshooting steps from this link: HP PCs - Touch Screen Stylus Pen Is Inaccurate or Stops Working

Thank you Praveen. I have tried all your suggestions apart from changing the stylus battery (although we did check it on a battery device before inserting it). When you suggested updating the ChipSet driver, when going through Device Manager and right-clicking there were four: I chose the Win10 Management one - should I also have updated the other three too? I can also try changing the stylus battery but at the moment AAAA batteries are very hard to get hold of: there is no sign of life from the Stylus Pen when I press any button on it, but I imagine there is no light on the pen that would come on anyway? I look forward to your reply and thank you again. Best, John
