Can all 3 of these HP pen models work well in compatability with the Omnibook Ultra Flip: HP rechargeable MPP 2.0, as well as the HP rechargeable 700 and 705 multipens. A lot of compatability lists only list up through the Spectre x360, which was succeeded after 2023 by the Omnibook Ultra Flip. I know the rechargeable 700 is compatable, but I've been told the MPP 2.0 will work great as well as we're not content creators, engineers or artists & I was given a new HP rechargeable MPP 2.0 tilt pen. Mainly need it for note taking conversion to text in college (just got my Omnibook Ultra Flip 2in1 this week. It's an Evo series Core Ultra 9 288v CPU with Windows 11 Home OS).
Lastly, how does HP 2, 3 or 4 yr warranty compare to Best Buy for accident protection/repairs & price wise with Best Buy's plans? Since I just got it, I needed a financial week before looking into an extended protection/service warranty on it beyond the 1 yr manufacturer warranty. Do I have within 30 days of the date of purchase to choose on from the manufacturer, HP, if I choose that direction?
Thank you!

Is it an HP OmniBook Ultra 14 inch Laptop Next Gen AI PC (14-fd0xxx) ? No information from its manual. You can check it first using
For the 14-fh series, you can use (as mentioned on page 21 of the manual).
- Pen, silver part # N44378-001
- Pen, black part # N54711-001
I don't know others outside the manual, you can try if lucky you can save money. I don't know Best Buy warranty scheme, I've few HP machines and all use HP Care pack.
Regards.

Hi Banhien or other HP tech support expert,
Yes it's an Jan 2025 Omnibook Ultra Flip 14, model # 14-fh0033dx (which is frustrating that the HP cust support website we register and receive advice from doesn't update this. So when I enter my laptop device serial number, they still have it called HP Spectre x360 even though those are discontinued and this product is the new Omnibook model, marked on product, marketed and sold as). And when I ask the products/store customer support, they only read off a list from the pens compatibility, so only list the Spectre x360 series, which this is not. There are differences, and the pens aren't universal. So where/how can I find on my computer's system, what pen technology it supports? enabled with which protocol: MPP 2.0, or USI 1.0, or AES 2.0? To be certain, so I don't waste time and money & have to return it. I know the more universal protocols and more expensive HP 700 multipen is compatible, but the store rep wasn't sure beyond that.
And those numbers on page 21 you wrote don't make sense. The product numbers for the 3 HP pen contenders in question are:
#3JI22AA for HP rechargeable MPP 2.0 Tilt pen
#93Z27AA for HP rechargeable 700 multi-pen
#93Z28AA for the 705 multi-pen
So based on my model number, is my HP Omnibook Ultra Flip 14 with Windows 11 Home enabled with MPP 2.0 tech protocol, support it, to be compatible with that pen?
Thank you 🙂

The question now is: you use the book (manual) or something else. You can use something else, if worked that was a luck , if NOT you still have the book to follow.
Regards.
