HP stylus tilt detects screen with charger connected or else it doesn't detect without a charger

My HP stylus tilt which does not have a button at the top, is charged to full with a solid white led color and does not detect the screen while unplugging the charger. However, it detects the screen with a charger connected to it only. Any idea how to make it detect the screen and start writing or drawing after removing the charger post the full charge?

My Active stylus is  HP Rechargeable MPP 2.0 tilt pen without a shortcut switch at the top.

I had to replace the stylus as its battery got damaged. now its working fine.
