Hi all,
I have an HP Elitebook 1050 G1, connected to an HP thunderbolt 230 W G2 dock and two Dell monitors (one through display port and one through VGA, but I have the same problem with HDMI). When I connect either one of both monitors through the docking station, the monitor work fine, but when I connect the second monitor through the docking station, both monitors go dark (power saving mode). However, when I connect one monitor through the docking station, and one directly to the laptop via the HDMI port. Both monitors work fine. My main screen on the laptop itself always stays functional. I tried updating all of the drivers, this did not work. Keyboard and mouse connected to the dock work fine.
SOLUTION: Eventually it worked after I went into my intel graphics control panel. Both monitors were there, but they were 'disabled'. I enabled them agian, and since then it works fine.
