Product: HP Spectre x360 13.5 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 14-ef2000 (771X4AV)

I have HP Spectre x360 2-in-1 Laptop 14-ef2150nd (2023) with HP Tilt pen 2.0 (without Bluetooth).

I assume they are compatible as this pen was the recommended accessory for the laptop.

 

In tablet mode the laptop reacts to the pen, handwriting keyboard appears and my writing gets recognized in the keyboard space, but nothing appears in the text field (text file, browser input field, etc.). So that I write with the pen, but it has no effect in Windows.

I did check and all my drivers are up to date.

 

Is this some known problem? I am inclined to return the pen and buy another model. Is there a list of compatible pen for that laptop?
