HP victus (Gap between the screen and bezel)

I had recently purchased hp victus from Amazon. On the same day I received the laptop I noticed there's a gap between the screen and bezel. I learned that this is not normal and has to be fixed or replaced. But Amazon is not providing replacement. What should I do ? Sould I return it and ask for refund or HP will be able to help me with replacement or fixing the issue ?
