HP x360 convertible 11-p110nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Thanks for helping!

After  system restore on my HP x360 convertible 11-p110nr, the  touch screen does not work when in windows 10 home Version 10.0.15063 Build 15063

loaded HP diagnostic tool "sp78614"  - F2 on boot

shows the touchscreen drag and drop and touch are working fine ... but when boot into windows will not work.  has to be a driver somewhere

troubleshooting comes to a dead end when trying to  "Verify the touchscreen driver is enabled" under human interface devices, there no "HID-compliant touch screen"  listed. Device Manager.pdf

please help.

everythign else works great on this machine and i really like its compactibilty, battery life and its really quick!

Greetings @PaPaTSWIdaho

Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post.

I understand that you are facing an issue with your computer where touchscreen is not working after system restore, is that right?

Kudos to you for trying to troubleshoot the issue on your own.

Not to worry, I will be glad to assist you.

Have you tried to update all the drivers using HP Support Assistant?

Recommend you boot the computer to recovery manager by tapping F11 repeatedly on startup.

Once the computer is in the recovery manager mode, test the touchscreen.

If you are unable to use the touchscreen in recovery manager, please contact our phone support for any service options available.

If you are able to use the touchscreen in recovery manager, please restart your computer.

Run HP Support Assistant to update or install any missing drivers on your computer. Click here to know more about HPSA.

For other troubleshooting steps, please refer to this HP Guided troubleshooter for assistance.

Let me know how it goes. Good Luck.

did a reboot and issue remains.

recap - touch screen works in test mode but not in windows operating system.

Bios is most current from HP - Version/Date Insyde F.16, 3/31/17

HP support assistant, drivers  verified as current for make / model / serial number

touch screen worked prior to system restore, but now does not work.

system information notes "no pen or touch available for this display"no pen touch.PNG

please verify the windows 10 driver for this make and model is proper in the HP library - its the only thing that makes sense

Found the file needed to update the touch screen

Intel Serial IO Driver its sp72332

use this for the HP Convertible x360 P1F14UA#ABA

next time an update is applied and you loose the touch screen functionality.
