I have an HP Chromebook Model 14-db0043wm serial number Edited, half of my screen is black and half is working fine. Idk how to fix it. Keys seem to be functioning well and mouse pad as well.

@JesusIsKing490, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP Chromebook screen issue!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Restart the Chromebook: Sometimes, simply restarting the device can fix display issues. Turn off your Chromebook completely and then turn it back on.

Check for Screen Damage: Examine the screen for any physical damage or cracks. If there is visible damage, you may need to get the screen repaired or replaced.

Update Chrome OS: Ensure your Chromebook is running the latest version of Chrome OS. To check for updates, go to Settings > About Chrome OS > Check for updates.

Reset Chromebook: Perform a hardware reset. Hold down the Refresh button and tap the Power button. This won't erase any data and may resolve the issue.

Adjust Display Settings: Go to Settings > Device > Displays and check if there are any settings that can be adjusted, like resolution or mirroring.

Perform a Factory Reset: If none of the above steps work, consider performing a factory reset. This will erase all data on your Chromebook, so ensure you back up any important files before doing so. Go to Settings > Advanced > Restore settings to their original defaults.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
