I am having an issue with my USB-C port and dual monitors. I have an HDMI splitter that goes to USB-C but it doesnt work.
8L708UA#ABA is the product number for my laptop.

The issue is that the USB-C port on the laptop is not compatible with DisplayPort (not image) it is for data only.
External I/O Ports | 1 USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate (supports data transfer only and does not support charging or external monitors); 2 USB Type-A 5Gbps signaling rate; 1 AC smart pin; 1 HDMI 1.4b; 1 headphone/microphone combo |

You must indicate the model of your laptop, they are all different in the USB-C port.

Of course this is a business model, it has DisplayPort on the USB.C port, if it does not work you must update the BIOS and graphics drivers.
