hi, I have a Victus laptop with a secondary monitor and a few days ago the HDMI output stop working i checked with different HDMI cables and another monitor and still won't work. Under device manager the "NVidia GeForce rtx 3050 ti laptop gpu" is showing an alert icon so I tried to update the driver, uninstall and re install it, download the driver from hp support page also install the NVidia app to get the driver from them and none of this make the card driver update and I still have the warning icon, also when I click on properties for this card on the devices status I'm getting a "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)" message. After all this I decide to reset this laptop from cero and start with a fresh windows installation and still having the same issue with the driver and not working HDMI port
this is a Victus 15-fa0032dx ill really appreciate if someone have an idea to solve this issue

Hi @jairo_m
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
If your HDMI output has stopped working on your Victus by HP Gaming Laptop 15-fa0000, and the "NVidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU" shows an alert icon in Device Manager, here are steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve this issue:
Check Device Manager for Errors:
- Open Device Manager.
- Locate "Display adapters" and check if the "NVidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU" has a yellow exclamation mark.
- Right-click on the GPU and select "Properties" to view the error message. Note down any error codes displayed.
Update GPU Drivers:
- Right-click on the "NVidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU" and select "Update driver".
- Choose "Search automatically for updated driver software". If Windows does not find a new driver, you can download the latest driver manually from the HP Support website or the NVIDIA website.
Uninstall and Reinstall GPU Drivers:
- In Device Manager, right-click on the "NVidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU" and choose "Uninstall device".
- Restart your laptop. Windows should automatically reinstall the GPU drivers. If it does not, download and install them manually from the HP Support website or the NVIDIA website.
Check HDMI Connection:
- Ensure the HDMI cable is securely connected to both your laptop and the external monitor.
- Try a different HDMI cable and a different monitor to rule out issues with the cable or monitor.
Configure Display Settings:
- Right-click on the desktop and select "Display settings".
- Ensure that the external monitor is detected and set up correctly. Click "Detect" if the monitor is not shown.
- Set the external monitor as either "Duplicate" or "Extend" display as per your requirement.
Perform a System Restore:
- If the issue started recently, consider restoring your system to a point before the problem began.
- Navigate to "Settings" > "System" > "Recovery" and choose "Open System Restore".
Run HP Hardware Diagnostics:
- Use the "HP PC Hardware Diagnostics" tool to troubleshoot hardware issues.
- Instructions are available on the HP Support website for downloading and running this tool.
