HP envy x360 15m-dr1012dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I've been trying to find the best way to extend (not mirror) my laptop screen to two new monitors that I had bought.

My laptop model is HP envy x360 i7 (15m-dr1012dx).

Please instruct me on whether I should get a usb-c to HDMI splitter or are there better options around for best performance. I do have a few other ports available other than usb-c and HDMI on this laptop.

Please recommend a good product to get so that I can be sure that it will work.

Thanks.

@Tarsuc

The specs of your machine is

You should be able to connect to TWO external monitors using

  • HDMI port: a direct HDMI - HDMI cable
  • USB-C port: using a direct USB-C to DP  or USB-C to USB-C monitor

Regards.

Thanks for the reply. @banhien

Unfortunately I only have one HDMI port and one USB c port on my laptop.

And the two monitors I bought only have HDMI port and a RGB in port each.

And I wasn't looking to mirror my laptop but to extend it into two monitors.

Please suggest any possible devices that can help

Unfortunately I can't mention Banhien in a message unless I'm a level 6 in this forum.

I still haven't figured out a solution.

Just noticed that my laptop just has 1 USB c port, 2 USB 2, and one HDMI port. Nothing else.

Monitors only have HDMI port.

Still wondering what I should buy to extend laptop instead of mirroring it.

Any help from anyone in the forum would be much appreciated.
