HP ENVY Laptop - 13-ba0505sa

I bought this laptop from Currys in September 2020 and over the past year or so, the right side hinge has been detaching.  I haven't been able to deal with it as I have needed my laptop constantly but the situation now needs to be rectified.  I really need to know if there is a solution, as I have read that it is not repairable.

I also need to know whether there is a safety risk in continuing to use it, as the power lead connection is on the right side, close to where the hinge is situated.  I have to be very careful in opening and closing the lid in case it comes off completely.

The Envy is a joy to use and I want to make sure I get the most out of it as the cost of purchasing it was paid for out of an inheritance.  Given the cost of £849, I would expect the laptop to have a life of over five years, especially as it is for home use only.

Please can anyone help?
