I have lines on the video monitor running horizontally. They start at the left and fade out towards the right. I have tried HP virtual support and cannot understand it.

Have you tried using an external monitor and check if the issue persists?
Access the BIOS screen on the PC and check if the lines exist.

Turn off the computer and wait five seconds.

Turn on the computer, and then immediately press the Esc key repeatedly until the Startup Menu opens.

Press F10 to open the BIOS Setup Utility.
Let us run a test on the hardware components of the PC
- Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
- Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
- Perform Component Test > Display/video. Share the result on your next post.

I have this exact same problem and I have tried everything you have asked. The lines still appear in BIOS. Ran the component test and it said it passed. I have updated drivers and still have the horizontal lines that start darker on the left and fade as they go to the right. Please help me out here. I have tried to contact customer support and got nothing.
