Hello Everyone!

Quickly to the point: all the hotkeys (all of them, brightness, volume, planemode) suddenly stopped working, without any clear cause behind it, meaning I haven't installed any new software recently (> 1 month). After I realized I both checked new HP updates via HP support assistant and installed them + I went in the BIOS and tried to Disable and re-Anable the function key status. Neither of these things worked.

Any suggestion?

Thank you!

Tommaso

OK, solved it!

I looked at some old posts about the same problem on different machines, and messing around with the PnP monitor driver I was able to make the hotkeys work again!

How did you fix it? Mine were working fine last night. I think something updated, and now I can't use the keys to change audio or brightness. Holy cow, it's working again. Don't know why.
