HP Pavilion - 15-cs0025cl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I use USB C and use HDMI to HDMI to try to connect to the monitor, but the screen doesn't display an image.

When I connect HDMI to HDMI directly to my laptop, it works, but I want to connect to 2 monitors with extended display.

Please advise.  Thank you.

The specs of your machine is

          https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06156386

It ONLY has 1 USB Type-C™ 3.1 Gen 1 (Data transfer only, up to 5Gb/s) port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to

  • Charge your machine
  • Connect to an external monitor with / without hub/dock/adapter

If you wish to connect to another external monitor, you need a DisplayLink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter or you can use

          True Universal Docking Stations

Regards.
