Product: Elitebook 840 G7

Whenever I adjust the system volume (Fn+F5/F6/F7), this obnoxious box shows up in the upper left (showing the volume, but then a large amount of other useless space showing some sort of preview of another page I'm not using at the time). It stays there for several seconds. This is obnoxious and disruptive to workflow. There doesn't appear to be a way to turn it off.

I don't think there is a way to disable the brief volume slider display.
