HP Pavilion - 15-au123cl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am looking to attach two monitors to my laptop. I am finding conflicting information about whether or not it supports dual monitors. I also need to know what kind of HDMI cable it will best support for the monitor display.

The specs of your machine is

            https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05281411

It only has  1 HDMI; 1 headphone/microphone combo; 1 USB 2.0; 2 USB 3.1; 1 RJ-45.

It HDMI port is HDMI v1.4 supporting: up to 1920x1080 @ 60Hz

If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only), you can use

   Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable

Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as

                      USB to HDMI Adapter

For more connectivity, please use

                      True Universal Docking Stations

Regards.
