HP M27fd FHD Monitor
Microsoft Windows 11

I want to connect a second HP 27fd monitor to my Lenovo notebook via a second usb-c port.

The 1st monitor connected via usb-c works splendidly.  I want to install a 2nd monitor (the Lenovo says it supports up to 3 external monitors via usb-c).  BUT - because the HP 27fd actually provides the charging current to my Lenovo notebook via that same usb-c cable, I am concerned that having another monitor in parallel with the first might be problematic.  Or does the charging circuit/logic in a notebook handle multiple charging sources simultaneously without a problem.

It occurred to me that if I can disable the power output on the HP 27fd monitor that my problem is solved.  I looked through the built-in menu options but didn't recognize any way to disable the power output.

Is it possible?  Or is there a recommended work-around?
