Hi @Petune ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you want to remove widgets from your HP Envy Notebook locked screen, you'll typically need to access the settings related to the lock screen or widget configurations.

Here's a general guide on how you can do this:

  • Open Settings: You can usually access settings by clicking on the Start button (Windows icon) in the bottom-left corner of your screen and selecting the "Settings" gear icon.
  • Navigate to Personalization: In the Settings menu, look for the "Personalization" option. Click on it to enter the personalization settings.
  • Choose Lock Screen: Within the Personalization settings, there should be an option for "Lock Screen" or something similar. Click on this to access settings related to your lock screen.
  • Configure Lock Screen Settings: Look for options related to widgets, notifications, or the content displayed on the lock screen. Depending on your laptop model and the version of Windows you're using, this may vary slightly.
  • Disable Widgets: Within the lock screen settings, you should find options to disable or customize widgets. Look for toggles or checkboxes associated with weather, sports, stocks, or any other widgets you want to remove. Toggle them off to disable them.
  • Save Changes: Once you've made your desired changes, make sure to save them before exiting the settings menu.
  • Test: Lock your laptop screen to see if the changes you made have taken effect. You should no longer see the widgets you disabled.

If you can't find the settings in the mentioned locations, you can also try searching for "lock screen settings" or "widgets settings" in the Windows search bar, usually located next to the Start button. This should direct you to the relevant settings menu.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
