Hi @westfield31
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
To get your HP Digital Pen working, follow these steps:
Insert or Charge the Battery:
If your pen uses a battery, insert it as per the instructions in the manual.
For rechargeable pens, connect it to a power source using the provided USB cable and charge it fully.
Pair the Pen with Your Device:
If the pen supports Bluetooth, press and hold the pairing button (usually near the top of the pen) until the LED indicator starts blinking.
On your device, go to "Settings" > "Bluetooth" and select the pen from the list of available devices.
Test the Pen:
Tap the pen tip on your device's touchscreen to check if it responds. If it doesn't, ensure your device supports the HP Pen and that the screen is enabled for pen input.
Customize Pen Settings:
Download the HP Pen Control app from the HP website or Microsoft Store. This app allows you to customize the pen buttons and adjust sensitivity settings.
Use Compatible Apps:
The pen works best with apps that support pen input, such as Microsoft OneNote, Sketchpad, or Adobe Photoshop.
