How do I highlight to copy and paste?

Hi @Sluggo1

A warm welcome to HP Community!

Copy and paste on Chromebooks are pretty much like copying on a Windows computer. Here is how to do it:

1.) On the Chromebook touchpad, you can press and hold your finger to create a selection box that will highlight the text you want to copy as you move your finger. Everything that’s highlighted will be copied.

2.) Press the Ctrl and the C keys at the same time. This will automatically copy the text and store it while waiting for you to paste it somewhere else.

3.) Go to the place you want to paste the content, press the Ctrl and V keys at the same time to paste the copied content.

Let me know how it goes!

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution and Kudos buttons, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
Have a great day!

Could you double click on the text and check if the highlight feature is working.
