Help, how do I turn on the keyboard backlight on a HP 17-cn0076nr.

There's no mention of your notebook having a backlit keyboard in the product specifications.

 

HP Laptop 17-cn0076nr Product Specifications | HP® Support

 

Chapter 2, page 12 of the service manual shows the design of the function key to turn on the backlit keyboard if your PC happens to have one.  It is the keyboard icon with the 'rays' above it.
