Hi,
I just bought my first HP 14-fq1030ca. It's was suppose to support many monitor... but I can only make the HDMI works. The USB-C to display port is not detect. The cable is working with another laptop (Dell one).
So I'm wondering if there is any limitation cause I need 2 external monitors.
USB-C port in specification is 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate
Thanks,
Caroline

Its specs
https://support.hp.com/ie-en/document/c07598577
It ONLY has 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to
- Charge your machine
- Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter
If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only), you can use
Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable
Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as
https://www.amazon.com.au/CableCreation-Adapter-Windows-Compatible-2560x1440/dp/B013G4CJM8
For more connectivity (including more monitors), please use
True Universal Docking Stations
Regards.
