Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I'm trying to connect a portable monitor to my laptop. This is the 3rd one I've tried. None seem to connect. Please help.

There are 2 things we need to know (a) What is your computer (b) what is your portable monitor ? We need to know EXACTLY what they are to be able to say

 

(a) Are they compatible ?

(b) If yes which port and cable we have to use ?

HP Recommended

My laptop is the HP Laptop 5BN221PK and the monitor is the HP E14 G4 Port Monitor. Using the USB Type-C cable that came with the  monitor.
