HP Spectre x360 - 13-ac013dx

I have a new HP x360, replacing my old HP x360. In my old one, I enabled the keyboard in tablet mode by disabling the driver for the Intel Integrated Sensor Solution. My new one is an AMD. Is there a comparable AMD driver to disable that will enable the keyboard in tablet mode? Or is there another way to enable the keyboard in tablet mode?

Hi @DaveD007,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your keyboard!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

For HP x360 notebooks, the keyboard's functionality is directly related to the mode in which the notebook is positioned. Here’s what you need to know:

Positions of HP x360 Notebook PCs

You can place HP x360 notebooks in four different positions:

  1. Stand mode
  2. Tent mode
  3. Tablet mode
  4. Clamshell mode

Enabling or Disabling the Keyboard

  • To enable the keyboard and the power button key on an x360 notebook, place the notebook in Clamshell mode.
  • To disable the keyboard, place the notebook in Stand mode, Tent mode, or Tablet mode.

I hope this helps.
