HP Pavilion Gaming - 15-ec1024ax

Hi ! My laptop is HP Pavilion Gaming - 15 and it is badly damaged in a fire-related incident. The room that the PC was kept in had caught fire, and this caused a lot of damage to the PC. Because of the heat, the PC screen and LED has badly cracked, and even the mother board has been damaged. Several parts of the body and casing has melted because of this. Some parts  like the processor/hard disk are okay, but some parts of the motherboard has been short circuited.

I'll need an official estimate for the cost of repairing this laptop, and how can I obtain this ? The nearest HP service center told me it would be impossible for them to **bleep** the damage.  I don't want to send this to repair before the damage has been assessed. Please let me know what can be done.

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that this is Hardware issue. But the support here is limited to software troubleshooting. However, since the unit might need repair I would request you to contact HP Phone support who would have an option to schedule a repair as per the warranty to get the issue fixed.

Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.

I hope this helps resolve this issue completely.

If this helps, please mark the public post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers
