If you have not already done so,
In the Taskbar
Right-click the Power icon , and then select Power Options
In the left pane, select Choose what the power buttons do (wording may vary by product).
If you cannot access the "When I close the lid" setting,
then, Power menu—Select Change Settings that are currently unavailable
To the right of "When I close the lid" > Select "Do nothing" from the drop-down menu
Click Save Changes
